Three Ways to Build Spending Awareness
From a single half-day introduction to a thorough ten-week grounding — choose the depth that suits where you are right now.

How Cermat Structures Spending Awareness
Cermat's approach follows a deliberate sequence: notice first, then consider, then — where it feels right — adjust. This order matters. Rushing to adjustment before awareness is solid tends to produce changes that do not last, because they have not grown from genuine understanding.
Each programme applies this sequence at a different depth. The Workshop introduces the first stage — noticing. The Notice and Adjust Programme builds the middle stage — a sustained review habit. The Foundations Course works across all three stages with the support of workbooks, clinics, and ongoing material access.
All programmes are delivered as general financial education and information. Cermat does not offer financial planning, investment advice, or any regulated financial service.
Notice
Observe spending patterns across everyday categories without judgement or pressure to act. Worksheets and category guides support this stage.
Consider
Reflect on what the patterns reveal — with support from weekly prompts, group reflection, and structured review journals.
Adjust
Make gradual, self-directed adjustments where they feel right. No targets are set for you. Changes belong to the participant.

How We Work
Standards Across All Programmes
Participant Privacy
No personal financial figures are collected, stored, or discussed in identifying ways. The focus is always on category patterns, not individual amounts.
Education-Only Practice
All content stays within the scope of general financial education and information. Cermat does not provide investment advice or regulated financial guidance.
Managed Group Sizes
Each cohort is kept small so every participant has adequate space to reflect and engage without the session feeling rushed or crowded.
Reviewed Materials
Worksheets, journals, and reference packs are reviewed and updated on a rolling basis to remain accurate and relevant to Malaysian spending contexts.
Trained Facilitation
Facilitators follow Cermat's standard facilitation approach — calm, non-directive, and consistently supportive of each participant's own pace.
Consistent Venue
All sessions are held at Menara Southpoint, Mid Valley City — a stable, professional environment that participants return to each week.
